The National Australia Bank had been approached by the Blood Bank to participate in its Blood donor program but was disappointed with the original response rate.
Shortly afterwards, Mediakinetix was approached for inspiration on how to increase the level of interest from employees. MK developed a scheme named ‘ The Pint for a Pint promotion’ where a prominent city ale house was asked to sponsor a special night for NAB staff during which each participant in the donor scheme would be able to replace their donated ‘Pint’ of blood with a ‘Pint’ of beer.
With six weeks to go, this campaign is on target to achieve the highest donor rate on record for the Blood Bank... What a great way to save lives with something that usually claims lives
